Welcome to my bell ringers. My Bell Ringers and many of my videos star Cowboy Aloysius Rufus. Yes, that is the name his mother gave him; but his friends just call him Cowboy. Cowboy is a pretend freshman at Caruthersville High School. He is in several clubs, and will play sports if he can keep his grades up? He works down at the Burger King on the french fry machine. Cowboy is NOT the brightest math student I have ever had. He was talking during much of his elementary math classes so he is far behind. However, he is working hard, trying to pay attention, and making some progress. Mr. Clark |

Monday # 29 Cowboy is an artist, he thinks!
Cowboy Rufus was on his IPad drawing pictures during math class. Suddenly, his table tells him that he was summoned to the board to work a problem. He knows nothing about squares and triangles, so he showed Mr. Clark a neat picture he drew of a racecar on his IPad. All Mr. C did was to write him up for inappropriate use of technology AGAIN!
Prove you are smarter than Cowboy and solve the hypotenuse (segment AD), and find the perimeter of the triangle. |
Tuesday #28. Cowboy Rufus Walks to School
